Join Beendigen as a Family Counsellor for a 12-month maternity leave contract. You will provide essential case management and counselling services to women and children within a cultural framework. This full time role (35 hours per week) is ideal for professionals seeking to support families dealing with violence.

You will be responsible for conducting individual and group counselling while integrating Anishinabe teachings. Flexibility in work hours allows you to adapt to the needs of your clients and community. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide individual and group counselling sessions
- Implement case management for women and children
- Utilize cultural teachings in sessions and programming
- Maintain assessment reports and case documentation
- Develop and distribute resource materials for public service Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or related field
- Experience in group work and wholistic healing
- Strong skills in family violence issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Class “G” Driver’s license required Make a positive impact on the lives of families through dedicated support and culturally sensitive counselling.
