Seaside Hotel is a boutique luxury hotel in North Vancouver and part of Executive Hotels & Resorts. We are looking for a personable and service-focused Bell/Valet Attendant to join our Front Office team. This is a guest-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, knows the city well and takes pride in providing polished, qualified service.

As one of the first and last points of contact for our guests, the Bell/Valet Attendant plays an important role in creating a welcoming arrival and departure experience.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests to the hotel and determining their needs, parking and retrieving their vehicles, providing luggage assistance, delivering, and retrieving guest items, assisting with recommendations and reservations for local amenities and attractions, and ensuring guests have a pleasant stay and smooth arrival and departure.

Responsibilities The Bell/Valet Attendant contributes to the success of the Hotel by performing the following duties:

- Be an ambassador of the Seaside Hotel and Executive Hotels & Resorts brands.
- Registers, parks and retrieves guests’ vehicles.
- Manages the hotel’s reserved valet parking stalls.
- Provides guests with luggage assistance and room orientations.
- Promote the property in interactions and possess a sound knowledge of attractions, nightlife, and special services of the surrounding area to enhance the stay of our guests.




- Must possess fluent knowledge of the city and geography, keeping abreast of arts & entertainment and local trends, building relationships with local restaurants and tourist attractions.
- Know daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
- Addressing and resolving guest concerns in a timely manner, escalating issues to the Manager on Duty when you are unable to do so.
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to Management and Supervisors.
- Maintain a good working relationship and communication amongst all colleagues and departments.
- Always maintains customers’ privacy and security.
- Escort guests to their rooms on arrival and assist with their luggage.
- Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Previous valet and/or bell services experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a Concierge role within a luxury property is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to communicate with guests, hotel team members and management in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
