About Seer Innovations & The Role

Seer Innovations is at the vanguard of industrial data collection, surveys, and construction. We are a project-driven, hardcore team of engineers and technicians who specialize in finishing. We are currently seeking an elite Bookkeeping and Accounting Consultant for a high-impact, 8-month contract.

During this term, you will mercilessly scrutinize and audit our financial systems and procedures. Your immediate mission is to execute a comprehensive cleanup of historical data ahead of year-end. Because our financial data currently lives inside our proprietary, in-house project management software, you will bridge the critical gap between financial mechanics and software development.

Core Responsibilities

- Enforce, supervise, and manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities.
- Direct accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Supervise bank reconciliations, account analyses, and execute accurate month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Drive extreme communication with our system developers to architect and execute seamless data exports.




- Integrate directly into Seer's product development cycle to build and launch a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) connecting our project system to our accounting ledger.

The Required Arsenal
- The confidence, operational vision, and gravitas to push process improvements and command organizational buy-in.
- Practical expertise in bookkeeping principles, AP/AR management, payroll, and core small business financials.
- Proven ability to use AI tools as a force multiplier for productivity, data management, and analytics—backed by targeted, ironclad audits to guarantee data integrity.
- Robust familiarity with modern budgeting processes and financial reporting tools.
- Attention to detail, ruthless task prioritization, and the ability to operate independently while maintaining razor-sharp team communication.

Pay: $31.50-$38.50 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Edmonton, AB T6V 1N2
