As a Branch Manager, you will lead branch operations, optimize member experience, and drive business development through exceptional people leadership and strategic execution. You will oversee operational planning, staff development, community engagement, and financial performance, ensuring members receive high‑value financial advice and services that support their long‑term well‑being.
This role is ideal for a collaborative, community‑driven leader who thrives in dynamic environments and inspires teams to deliver excellence. This is a Full‑time, Permanent role based at our Abbotsford Community Branch (Branch 34) and will report directly to the Senior Regional Director, Inclusive Banking. Delivering on financial objectives and performance targets for the branch Developing, coordinating, and monitoring branch activities to ensure high‑quality service delivery Building branch visibility and brand awareness to strengthen community presence and drive business growth Coaching and guiding staff to achieve excellence in advice, service,
and member experience Analyzing operational processes to identify efficiencies and areas for continuous improvement Minimum 3 years of people‑management experience in a financial services environment Minimum 2 years of business development experience with demonstrated measurable outcomes At least 5 years of overall experience in the financial industry or a related field Strong business acumen and applied knowledge of financial products, advice, and service delivery Advanced knowledge of Vancity products, policies, procedures, systems, and tools A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Completion of Vancity‑aligned coaching modules An Effective Communicator – You communicate business objectives clearly and model strong member‑service behaviours.
A Decisive Problem‑Solver – You confidently assess risk and identify solutions that balance member impact and business needs. Analytical and Insight‑Driven – You evaluate branch performance and identify areas for operational improvement. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity.
