Kandrea Insulation is currently looking for a Branch Manage, located out of Whitecourt to join our team. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our Whitecourt branch with a focus on building the policies, processes, and procedures for the branch.

The successful candidate will build a trustworthy environment, have effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, and exceed clients’ expectations. They must be able to make tough decisions, ensuring clients’ needs are met while ensuring Kandrea’s best interest.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Branch Manager is responsible for branch operations and project oversight including safety, quality, and productivity. This position is also responsible for financial management and business development.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Plans, organizes, leads, and controls branch operations
- Provides daily decision making on day-to-day operations, manpower request, and employee issues
- Assesses local market conditions to identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Provides estimation and project management on execution strategies
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, proactively manages scope changes, change orders, labour and materials
- Develops the annual plan and objectives for the branch
- Designs, develops and implements policies and procedures for the branch
- Manages employees by recruiting, training, communicating job expectations and appraising performance
- Ensures employee performance is in alignment with branch objectives
- Provides guidance and direction to Superintendents and field employees




- Supervises the office employees and provides support for branch level AP, AR and payroll activities
- Completes quarterly forecasts and reports on financial targets
- Ensures quality, health and safety procedures are enforced
- Guarantee the delivery of high quality products and services to the client.
- Manages the asset and material inventory data base
- Continuously analyses operations for financial improvements and cost control
- Ensures project costs are controlled
- Manages the branch budget, expenses, and ensures cost effectiveness
- Safety is everyone’s responsibility and you are responsible to look out for yourself and those around you

Education & Experience

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction management*
- PMP designation is an asset* *
- Financial training and budgeting experience is an asset*
- Strong understanding of insulation and scaffolding wo
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to maintain the following safety tickets: CTS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection

- Requirement to travel to other locations (50%)
