About the Role
It’s an exciting time to join Score’s Edmonton, Alberta team and we are looking for a Business Administrator for our Edmonton office team to support business operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the business by providing high-level administrative support across multiple departments.
This position is based at our Edmonton facility and reports directly to the General Manager. The incumbent will serve as a central point administrator for internal processing, helping to streamline communication, enhance productivity, and support strategic initiatives.
Your responsibilities will span a wide range of functions, including finance, human resources, procurement, and operations, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented approach. By fostering cross-functional collaboration and maintaining organizational systems, you will contribute directly to the operational efficiency and overall success of the company.
This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in a rapid-paced environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement and supporting business excellence. In addition to managing day-to-day administrative tasks, you will also play a strategic role in shaping internal workflows, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence, and ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals.
Your ability to anticipate needs, implement effective solutions, and lead administrative coordination will be instrumental in driving business performance and cultivating a positive organizational culture.
This position is in town based at our Edmonton office. The regular schedule will be Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the General Manager and departmental leads.
- Coordinate and manage internal communications, scheduling, and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
- Maintain and update company records, databases, and filing systems.
- Support procurement, finance, HR, and operations teams with administrative tasks.
- Assist accounts, repairs administrator and site administrator with accounts payable tasks (matching and posting) and accounts receivable tasks (invoicing).
- Monitor and manage office supplies and liaise with vendors as needed.
- Organize meetings, coordinate lunch orders, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to process improvements and support project coordination efforts.
- Track and manage departmental expense reports and invoicing processes.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees.
- Coordinate lunch orders, travel arrangements and accommodation for staff and visitors.
- Support health, safety, and quality assurance initiatives by maintaining documentation and assisting with audits.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications, newsletters, and announcements.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, clients, and service providers as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist in planning and executing company events, training sessions, and team-building activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the department/business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or business support role.
- Experience with ERP systems or business management software is an asset.
