Job Title: Business Central Analyst

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Client: Public Sector

Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Potential Extension up to 24 Months)

Required Experience and Skills

- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
- Recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and AL extensions.
- Strong proficiency in AL programming language and Business Central extension development.
- Experience designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Business Central applications, extensions, pages, reports, tables, code units, workflows, and APIs.
- Strong understanding of Business Central architecture, configuration, deployment models, and SaaS environments.
- Hands-on experience with Business Central integrations, including REST APIs, web services, API pages/queries, OData V4, JSON, XML, and integration frameworks.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID for secure application and API integrations.
- Experience integrating Business Central with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, and Microsoft 365.
- Robust experience with Visual Studio Code for AL development and Business Central extension development.
- Experience with RDLC reports and Word layouts for Business Central reporting.
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps source control and development practices.
- Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines for Business Central development and deployments.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts.
- Experience with debugging, testing, performance optimization,



and troubleshooting Business Central applications.
- Experience participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Experience supporting data migration and system upgrades from legacy ERP platforms or previous Dynamics versions.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical Business Central solutions while collaborating with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience
- Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure cloud integrations.
- Experience with Business Central upgrades and migrations.
- Experience with multi-company or multi-tenant Business Central deployments.
- Knowledge of ERP business processes including Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- MB-820: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate certification.
- Additional Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 or Azure.
- Experience with code reviews, development standards, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
