About the role

We're a bootstrapped B2B SaaS company selling document review and approval software into two markets: enterprise teams managing technical documentation, and general contractors / design-engineering firms in construction (AEC) managing drawing and submittal reviews. We have paying customers and a working product - what we don't have yet is a repeatable outbound engine, and that's what this role builds, working directly with the founder.

This is our first sales hire. You'll have real influence over how the playbook gets built, not just execute someone else's script.

What you'll do

- Run outbound prospecting (email + LinkedIn, cold calling) into two defined target markets: documentation-heavy enterprise teams, and construction general contractors/design firms.
- Qualify leads against a clear ICP before they go on the founder's calendar.
- Book qualified meetings and manage follow-up/no-show recovery.
- Run a small outbound experiment into a new, unproven market segment, to get fast real-world signal.




- Keep the CRM clean and produce a simple weekly pipeline update.

What a robust first 90 days looks like
- Days 1-30: ramp on the product, ICP, and messaging; shadow founder-led calls; start outbound.
- Days 30-60: running full outbound sequences independently; booking first qualified meetings.
- Days 60-90: consistent qualified-meeting output; contributing to messaging/sequence refinement based on what's actually working.

Must-have
- 0-2 years of B2B SaaS outbound/BDR experience (a sharp, coachable entry-level candidate is welcome to apply).
- Demonstrated comfort with cold outreach - email sequencing tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and phone.

Nice-to-have
- Exposure to the construction/AEC industry, technical documentation/publishing, or enterprise software sales.
