What You'll Do

As the Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and supporting the company's growth objectives.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will:

- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across targeted industries and trade lanes.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Grow existing accounts by identifying additional logistics and supply chain opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Provide customers with market intelligence and transportation solutions tailored to their needs.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations,



and commercial agreements.
- Monitor industry trends, freight markets, carrier capacity, and supply chain developments.
- Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Documentation, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales pipeline records.
- Represent WFS at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, shipping, or supply chain industries.
- Proven success in business development, account management, or sales.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, international transportation, and supply chain solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).
