Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the technical aspects of a data migration project from inception through to deployment. The successful candidate will participate in analysis and system design specification sessions and produce documentation of design options and solutions according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. Meeting time is minimal — a maximum of 2.5 hours per week, only when needed — with the majority of work focused on hands‑on technical execution. The contractor will have access to customer data. Key Responsibilities





- Lead technical aspects of the data migration project from inception through to deployment

- Read and comprehend data schemas, metadata, entity relationship diagrams, and other technical documentation, as well as write documentation

Required Skills

- 7–10 years of technical knowledge or experience with Cloud environments (MS Azure) as well as experience with Data Management and Analytics
- 7–10 years of strong technical knowledge and experience with PySpark, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI
- 7–10 years of experience with analyzing large data sets, drawing insights and inferences, and communicating outputs
- Experience with reading and comprehending data schemas, metadata, entity relationship diagrams, and other technical documentation, as well as writing documentation
- 7–10 years of Databricks experience, Unity Catalog experience, and Synapse experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
- Strong statistical and analytical skills as well as a passion for analytics
