We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and cabinetry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble high-quality cabinets and furniture. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and working with various hand tools, ensuring that each piece meets our exacting standards for craftsmanship and design.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate cabinets and furniture according to specifications and design plans.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Assemble cabinet components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area,
adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in estimating materials needed for projects, contributing to effective project planning.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking or carpentry.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and construction estimating.
- Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Experience in concrete forming is a plus but not required.
- A background as a maintenance person or in general construction can be beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
