Job Summary: Skilled Carpenter and Renovator for Residential Renovations

Vivid Builders is hiring an experienced carpenter and renovator to work on residential renovations and occasionally, on smaller commercial interior builds. We are looking to hire a qualified individual that will promote the growth of other team members to work as a unit. We are a “big picture” company and are looking for an individual willing to wear many hats to see a project through to completion, including doing demo if needed, framing and carpentry, cabinet install, tile work etc. Renovation build knowledge is essential.

This is a hands on position for someone who can tackle everything.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To arrive to work with positive attitude and willingness to work as a team for job efficiency.

To promote team growth, and uphold the high quality craftsmanship of Vivid Builders.

To communicate with the homeowners in a friendly manner, and with a desire to please the client, while making a conscious effort to respect the homeowner’s property.

To read blueprints, and use a variety of tools during the build to make sure the job is done right the first time.

To pay attention to detail to what they are doing, and to safety involved in each task.

To produce results while working as a team player, as well as on your own. To follow direction, and have the desire to learn new skills and meet new challenges.





To be a well rounded renovator willing to work in all area’s of a renovation as needed to follow the project from start to finish. Demo, framing, carpentry, tile work, cabinetry install, material pick up.

Must have renovation and build experience as well as a solid knowledge of, and ability to, operate power tools.

To perform residential demolition and site preparation To complete framing, including walls, floors, ceiling, doors, and other structural components To repair and install drywall To complete or assist with tile installation To painting walls and ceilings To perform general carpentry and finish carpentry

Excellent advancement potential, and experience in a variety of trades.

Expected hours:

Full time employment dependent on skillset.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Must pass a criminal background check

Must have proven residential carpentry experience and framing skills and is comfortable working in all areas of a renovation

Must have good knowledge of hand and power tools

Works well with others and in a team environment and willingness to foster growth to all team members and employees.

MUST HAVE a willingness to do what is needed to get the projects done and willingness to learn

Willingness to comply with safety regulations

Must be in good physical health in order to complete the job tasks above

Speaks English, reads English, writes English.

Must have approved steel-toed boots, and basic hand tools.

Must have own vehicle and valid drivers license.

Required Experience:

Carpentry 5+ years

Renovations: 3+ years

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
