Duties

- Greet customers warmly, assist with their selections, and provide outstanding customer service.
- Operate cash registers accurately, handle transactions efficiently, and process payments with precision.
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cookies, pastries, and other baked goods, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Decorate desserts using decorating techniques to create visually appealing products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling ingredients, packaging baked items for sale or delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth bakery operations.
- Follow all food handling regulations and safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff.

Skills





- Proven experience in baking or food preparation within a bakery or restaurant environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Skilled in cake decorating, including frosting, piping, and artistic presentation.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and packaging tools safely.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Experience in food industry roles that involve cooking or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
