Job Summary

Duties

- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and process transactions using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems with speed and accuracy
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company guidelines
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments confidently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food prep areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and efficient food preparation




- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating totals accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation tasks such as assembling menu items or working in a kitchen environment is a plus
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours and ensure timely service
