Full-Time Cashier / Kitchen Helper Di Forno Pizzeria – 1417 Commercial Drive, Vancouver

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our team as a full time Cashier/Kitchen Helper.

This is a combined position. On some shifts, you will work mainly as a cashier. On other shifts, you will assist in the kitchen while also helping with cashier duties when needed.

Cashier Responsibilities

● Greet customers and provide friendly customer service

● Take customer orders and process payments

● Manage online, pickup, and delivery orders

● Handle pizza slice sales

● Cut and box pizzas

● Wrap and prepare slices for customers

● Help organize orders and ensure they are given to the correct customers or delivery drivers

● Clean tables, the cashier area, and other assigned areas

● Complete other cashier-related duties as required

Kitchen Helper Responsibilities

● Assist pizza makers during food preparation and cooking

● Wash dishes and keep the kitchen clean and organized

● Cut and prepare vegetables and meats

● Prepare sauces and pizza dough





● Help organize ingredients and supplies

● Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

● Complete other kitchen duties as required

Requirements

● Must be available to work full-time

● Must have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

● Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible

● Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

● Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

● Good communication and customer-service skills

● Restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred, but training can be provided

Compensation and Benefits

● $18.25–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience and performance
