Liquor Store Clerk / Customer Service Associate

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Liquor Store Clerk / Customer Service Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while helping maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming store.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, professional, and helpful customer service.
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products throughout the store.
- Answer customer questions and provide general product information when appropriate.
- Operate the POS/cash register and accurately process cash, debit, and credit transactions.
- Follow all store policies regarding age verification and checking valid identification for alcohol purchases.
- Receive deliveries and help unload, organize, and put away incoming inventory.
- Stock and refill shelves, coolers, displays, and other merchandise areas throughout the shift.
- Rotate products and keep merchandise organized and properly faced.
- Create, print, and replace price tags, shelf labels, promotional signs, and product labels as required.
- Assist with setting up promotional displays, sale items, and in-store merchandising.
- Monitor shelves and coolers for low-stock items and communicate inventory needs to management.
- Maintain accurate pricing and report any pricing or inventory discrepancies.
- Keep the sales floor, checkout area, coolers, storage areas, and back room clean and organized.
- Perform regular cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, wiping counters and shelves, taking out garbage, and keeping entrances tidy.
- Break down cardboard boxes and properly dispose of packaging and waste.
- Help maintain a safe and professional environment for customers and coworkers.
- Follow store procedures regarding theft prevention, suspicious activity,



and responsible alcohol sales.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with customers, coworkers, management, delivery drivers, and sales representatives.
- Assist with opening and closing duties when scheduled.
- Complete assigned daily tasks efficiently and without constant supervision.
- Perform other general store duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and respectful attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system.
- Able to work independently and stay productive during slower periods.
- Good attention to detail, especially with pricing, labels, inventory, and cash transactions.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Able to bend, reach, stock shelves, and safely lift and move cases of merchandise.
- Previous retail, liquor store, grocery, convenience store, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Must meet all legal requirements applicable to working in a liquor retail setting in Saskatchewan.

Pay: $15.50 per hour
