Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries to ensure a welcoming environment
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and refunds
- Manage cash register operations with precision, including balancing drawers at shift end
- Conduct product demos and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products and ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, especially for technology sales or specialized items
- Handle customer concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone
- Support inventory management through basic math skills for stock counts and order processing




- Demonstrate excellent time management to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods

Skills

- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interactions with customers and team members
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles with a focus on sales growth through upselling techniques
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos in technology or related fields is a plus
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and POS systems to streamline checkout processes
- Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a rapid-paced setting
- Time management skills to prioritize duties effectively during peak hours
- Phone etiquette expertise for qualified customer interactions over the phone
