Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Montreal, QC. The Cashier will handle customer transactions, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing cash, card, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.

Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, answering basic product and service questions, and providing a courteous, professional experience at the point of sale.



The role also involves balancing the cash register, reconciling sales at the end of shifts, and promptly reporting any discrepancies to management. The Cashier will help maintain a clean and organized checkout area, follow company policies for cash handling and security, and collaborate with team members to support smooth store operations.

Qualifications

- Cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) operation, and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Customer service and communication skills to provide a friendly, professional experience and respond to inquiries clearly.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving skills to manage discrepancies, follow procedures, and support store operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple customers or tasks at once.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role is an asset.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital payment systems.
- Availability for full time schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (such as French) are beneficial in the Montreal market.
