We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Casual Health Care Aide to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in a long term care facility. Responsibilities

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and under supervision, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
- Engage residents in social activities and companionship to foster emotional well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior to the nursing team promptly.
- Provide home care services including assistance with errands, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications





- Previous experience working as a health care aide, preferably in assisted living or nursing home settings.
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate, patient, and energetic approach.
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Certification as a health care aide or equivalent is preferred; ongoing training is supported.
