VC Athletic Therapy Health Collective
Petawawa
What if your next career also gave you the life you wanted?
Imagine building a rewarding Patient load, doing meaningful clinical work and still having time and energy left for your own life.
At VC Athletic Therapy Health Collective, we are looking for a Certified Athletic Therapist who wants more than another position in an expensive city, an exhausting commute or a schedule that consumes every evening and weekend.
We are offering an opportunity to build a career in a welcoming community where Athletic Therapy coverage is expanding, the cost of living is more affordable and your work can make a genuine difference.
Why Petawawa?
Petawawa offers the rare combination of meaningful career opportunities and an exceptional quality of life.
You can finish your workday and be on the Ottawa River, at the beach, on a trail, in the gym or home with your family within minutes. There are no hours spent sitting in traffic, and the lower cost of living means your income can go further than it would in many larger Canadian cities.
Petawawa offers
- A more affordable cost of living
- Short commutes and free parking
- Flexible work opportunities
- Beaches, trails and the Ottawa River
- Paddling, hiking, cycling, skiing and year-round recreation
- Strong local sports, fitness and community organizations
- A welcoming community where it is possible to build genuine relationships
- The opportunity to create a career without giving up your personal life
You can become part of the community by joining local sports leagues, gyms, running clubs, outdoor groups and community activities. These connections can also help your Patient load grow naturally because people come to know and trust you—not because you are constantly trying to sell yourself.
Do Work That Matters
Petawawa is home to one of Canada’s largest military bases. Our clinic serves active military members, veterans and their families, as well as first responders, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories employees, athletes and members of the wider Ottawa Valley community.
Many of the people you will treat have spent their careers serving Canada, protecting their communities or performing physically demanding work. You will have the opportunity to help them remain active, return to work, recover from injuries and regain the quality of life they deserve.
This is work that matters—and you will be part of a team and community that recognizes its value.
Growing Demand for Athletic Therapy
Athletic Therapy coverage has expanded significantly in the Ottawa Valley over the past year.
Canadian Nuclear Laboratories now provides employees with up to $3,000 annually in Athletic Therapy coverage. The Town of Petawawa and Pembroke Regional Hospital have also added or increased their Athletic Therapy coverage.
As more employers recognize Athletic Therapy, demand is growing. We are looking for another Athletic Therapist who can start immediately and help meet that need.
