This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

- Host the patient from when they walk in the door to as they check out after their time with us.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that the patient is comfortable and informed throughout the process.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and secure working environment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using Tracker dental software.
- Support pediatric patients with care tailored to their needs, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for children.




- Be willing to learn as our team continually upgrades and adds new services and procedures.

Qualifications

- Current BC Certified Dental Assistant license, new grads or soon to be new grads welcome to apply
- Familiarity with CEREC software is a plus for those involved in restorative dentistry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike.
