Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. We are also seeking caregivers with experience and a Physio Therapist assistant willing to work with our clients. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, hospice care, and senior care environments as well as in home settings .Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring the comfort and dignity of those you assist.

Duties

As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to patients, particularly those with dementia or working with persons with disabilities.
- Administering medications as directed by nursing staff and monitoring patient health.
- Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe setting for patients.
- Assisting with mobility and physical activities, which may involve heavy lifting or transferring of patients.




- Documenting patient care activities and reporting any changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

Requirements To be considered for the Health Care Aide position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred; experience in senior care or hospice care is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is an asset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist patients with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A caring attitude and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Certification as a nurse aide or completion of relevant training programs is advantageous but not mandatory.
