Role Description The Chemical Engineer will work full time on-site in Toronto, ON, focusing on designing, optimizing, and monitoring chemical processes within industrial or laboratory settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting experiments, analyzing process data, and developing solutions to improve efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale up processes from laboratory to production, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

The Chemical





Engineer will also support troubleshooting activities, participate in process hazard assessments, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for data evaluation, problem-solving, and process optimization.
- Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills for experimentation, testing, and safe handling of chemical materials.
- Candidates should possess experience in the Chemical Industry, including familiarity with industrial processes and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clear technical reporting.
- Candidates should possess Process Engineering skills for designing, modeling, and improving chemical operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality systems relevant to chemical processes.
- Proficiency with process simulation or modeling software is an asset.
- Ability to work in office in Toronto, ON, and adapt to a dynamic, project-based environment.
