Duties

- Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to the interests and developmental needs of children and youth
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals , ensuring their safety and promoting their participation in daily routines
- Assist with educational tasks, including teaching basic skills and supporting school-related activities
- Monitor behavior and intervene appropriately to maintain a positive and respectful workplace
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans
- Support children during outings, recreational activities, and community events to foster social integration
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, progress notes,



and incident reports

Skills

- Experience working with individuals, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Proven ability to work effectively with children across diverse age groups and backgrounds
- Strong teaching skills to facilitate learning and skill development in a supportive manner
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing challenging behaviors
- Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge of safety protocols and first aid procedures related to child care

Must have Non Violent Training, Criminal Check, Child Welfare Check, Drivers Licence and Abstract if you drive. Pay: $19.44-$24.52 per hour
