Join us at the EarlyON Child & Family Centre as a Family Resource Worker, dedicated to improving family support through early learning programs and community collaboration.
The Family Resource
Worker (FRW) plays a crucial role in advancing the initiatives of the EarlyON Child & Family Centre. This position is centered on developing quality programs while building supportive connections with children, families, and community partners. You'll ensure the delivery of safe and inclusive environments that align with OCOF/Nena's mission and values. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and evaluate high-quality family-centered educational programs
- Strengthen partnerships with families and community organizations
- Ensure inclusive practices within program environments
- Respond to community service requests effectively
- Remain knowledgeable about local community resources Requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a relevant degree
- Experience working with vulnerable families and children
- Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Ontario class “G” driver’s license with a positive record Bring a passion for child development and a commitment to community to your work with OCOF/Nena.
