Civil Construction Lead – Site Operations

Job Overview:

Blue Thunder Construction LTD is looking for an experienced Civil Construction Lead to join our growing operations team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone with a solid background in excavation, foundation work, and land development. You will be responsible for overseeing field crew and involving into the day-to-day site operations involving heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, rollers, screening equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise site crews working on excavation, grading, foundations, and topsoil applications.
- Coordinate and manage equipment operations, including trucks, excavators, and loaders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with design specifications.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Enforce health and safety protocols on-site.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards are met.

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in civil construction, lead or supervisory role.
- Robust knowledge of excavation,



land preparation, foundation work, and soil management.
- Ability to manage crews, schedules, and equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license; heavy equipment certifications are an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
