Quest Disposal & Recycling is hiring a full-time, permanent Class 3 Front-Load Driver based from our Vegreville yard.

This is steady, year-round work for a dependable commercial driver who values safety, takes care of equipment and is comfortable working independently. Drivers operate a front-load garbage truck on established commercial collection routes and return to our Vegreville hauling yard after completing the route.

What to Expect

- Full-time, permanent, year-round employment
- Primarily Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend work based on operational requirements

Applicants must be able to reliably report to the Vegreville yard for early starts. Local applicants or those living within approximately 30 minutes of Vegreville are preferred.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a front-load garbage truck
- Service commercial garbage and recycling containers
- Back into customer sites and position the truck safely around buildings, vehicles and overhead hazards
- Complete assigned routes safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify and report equipment, container and customer-site concerns
- Secure loads and clean up any material released during service
- Maintain a clean truck and take pride in assigned equipment
- Follow company safety procedures and customer-site requirements
- Provide professional and respectful customer service

Requirements
- Valid Alberta Class 3 or Class 1 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake (Q) Endorsement
- Commercial driving experience required
- Relevant industrial, waste collection,



construction or route-driving experience is preferred
- Able to provide a five-year commercial driver’s abstract showing no current demerit points
- Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Able to complete a physical abilities test
- Comfortable with frequent backing and operating in tight commercial sites
- Physically capable of repeatedly entering and exiting the truck, climbing onto equipment when required and working outdoors in changing Alberta weather
- Dependable attendance and ability to work early mornings and full route days
- Strong commitment to safe driving and respecting company equipment
