Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal to keep all areas tidy and sanitary
- Use specialized cleaning equipment and products to ensure high standards of hygiene in restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas
- Maintain cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly duties
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability for staff and visitors
- Follow safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or damage




- Report any maintenance issues or hazards discovered during cleaning activities to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others

Skills

- Proven custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures in commercial settings
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality control
- Robust organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good communication skills for reporting issues or requesting supplies when needed
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
