We are currently seeking a full-time (8 to 4, Monday to Friday) Clinical Research Coordinator, for our downtown Hamilton location.
Responsibilities include recruitment of study participants (e.g. identify and screen potential subjects, obtain informed consent); coordination of patient visits schedules as per study protocol; execution of all aspects of study visit (e.g. questionnaires, sample collection, including processing and shipment of samples according to clinical protocol).
The Clinical Research
Coordinator plans, implements and coordinates aspects of data collection, source documentation and data entry per policy and ICH/GCP guidelines; executes study-related administrative tasks, such as collection of regulatory documents, creation of investigator study files, and ethics submissions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in health-related field, or equivalent
- At minimum, 3 years clinical and/or professional experience
- Up to 1 year clinical research experience preferred; experience in recruiting patients for research studies or clinical trials
- Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines
- Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures an asset
- Certification as a Clinical Research Professional, preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a multitasking environment
- Strong Proficiency with MS Office software, Word, Excel, Outlook
Phlebotomy and/or ECG skills considered an asset. Must be able to work independently with little supervision, as well as part of a larger team.
Additional compensation based on performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
