**Cloud Data Engineer (5 Month Contract)
Location: New Westminster, BC / Hybrid
Staffing Placement Prospect** Business Analysis
- Gather, document, analyze, and manage business requirements for small technology-related projects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and end users to ensure requirements are accurately captured and understood.
- Develop and maintain business analysis documentation, including:
- Business Requirements
- Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
- Data Requirements
- Business Scenarios and Use Cases
- Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM)
- Functional Specifications
- User Interface Specifications
Documentation & Process Analysis
- Create high-quality project and governance documentation.
- Develop process impact assessments, process maps, workflows, and process designs.
- Coordinate stakeholder reviews, approvals, and sign-offs to support successful project implementation.
Technology Adoption & Learning
- Create compelling video-based training and communication materials.
- Design AI-enabled learning experiences that enhance technology adoption.
- Translate complex AI and technology concepts into engaging, user-friendly content.
- Support initiatives that drive employee adoption and realization of business value from technology investments.
Project Support
- Assist with project planning and coordination activities.
- Support data migration and system integration efforts by identifying and documenting requirements and dependencies.
- Work closely with project managers, training leads, change management resources, and technical teams.
Testing & Implementation
- Support testing activities and create:
- Test Plans
- Test Scenarios and Scripts
- Test Reports
- Ensure business requirements are validated and successfully implemented.
- Provide clarification and ongoing support to development, testing, training,
and user experience teams.
Change Management & Communication
- Support stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
- Assist with training development and rollout activities.
- Document meeting outcomes, action items, and decisions.
- Contribute to successful transition and sustainment efforts following project implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting technology projects in a complex enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience creating and editing professional video content.
- General knowledge and understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies and applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving technology environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting technology adoption, training, or learning initiatives.
- Experience working within public-sector, utility, or large enterprise organizations.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of change management principles and user adoption strategies.
