Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machine Assistant and be a vital part of producing high-quality precision components! In this energetic role, you will support the operation and setup of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including lathes and milling machines, to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for manufacturing will drive success in this fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of CNC machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines using technical drawings and blueprints.
- Support the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections with calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files, and manufacturing instructions to support accurate machining.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols including forklift operation when necessary.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste.




- Assist with basic machine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting using mechanical knowledge and CNC programming skills.

Experience

- Prior experience or training in manufacturing environments preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other CNC programming systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and understanding technical drawings.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, welding, assembly, and use of hand tools.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical specifications.
- Experience with SolidWorks or CAD software is advantageous for understanding design files.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred for material handling tasks.
