We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team at ANT Custom Laser Cutting Fabrication Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend and shape metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to producing high-quality parts that meet strict specifications, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines, ensuring accurate bending according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical sketches, and work orders to determine proper machine settings and tooling requirements
- Program CNC press brakes using CAD/CAM software or manual input to achieve precise bends and angles
- Conduct routine machine inspections, maintenance, and adjustments to optimize performance and safety
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools to verify conformance to specifications
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, ensuring parts are correctly formed for subsequent manufacturing steps
- Maintain a clean and organized work area,

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating CNC press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
- Robust knowledge of CNC programming, including manual input and editing of programs using CAD/CAM software
- Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC lathe, milling machines, welding, and other machining processes is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply mechanical knowledge effectively
- Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, mechanical measurement devices, and basic math skills for precise adjustments
- Experience with quality inspection techniques to ensure parts meet strict tolerances
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift handling, and machine operation
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and efficiently
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience highly preferred
