We are looking for an experienced

COBOL Programmer/ Production Support Engineer to support and enhance a core banking deposit platform. If you have strong COBOL development experience, production support expertise, and a background in banking systems, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide production support for a core deposit platform and monitor nightly batch jobs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, batch failures, and application issues.

- Develop and enhance COBOL programs and Linux Shell scripts.

- Work with Oracle SQL/PLSQL for data extraction and analysis.

- Support system upgrades, testing, and change management activities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while following SDLC processes.

Required Skills:





- 4–6 years of COBOL development and production support experience.

- Strong COBOL programming and debugging skills.

- Hands-on experience with Control-M or similar enterprise job schedulers.

- Solid Linux/Unix Shell scripting experience.

- Oracle SQL & PL/SQL knowledge.

- Experience working in Linux/Unix production environments.

- Familiarity with Jira, SDLC, and change management processes.

Banking domain knowledge (deposits, interest calculations, debits/credits, General Ledger) is required.

- OpenVMS DCL experience is a plus.
