Join our growing team as a Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster. In this remote role, you’ll apply your expertise to meaningful work, and play an important role in delivering exceptional service when it matters most.

As an Auto Adjuster, you’ll help customers move through the claims process with confidence by combining sound judgment, explicit communication, and a solutions-focused approach. This role offers the opportunity to manage claims from first review through resolution while building robust technical, client service, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

- Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information
- Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files
- Evaluates coverage, liability and quantum
- Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records
- Negotiates, settles and finalizes claims
- Work with managers to maintain client relations

Qualifications





- Minimum of 1 year of technical experience in an insurance claims environment.
- Post-secondary education in an insurance related field is an asset.
- The ability to get an Independent Adjusting License.
- CIP coursework underway, working towards CIP Designation.
- Knowledge of commercial and personal lines in both Property and Auto PD will be considered an asset.
- Ability to conduct telephone investigations, evaluate, negotiate and settle first and third-party commercial lines claims.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed activity, transaction and reserve records.
- Advanced computer skills including Office 365 and Windows 10.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and mathematical ability.
