Sandhar Trucking Ltd is currently accepting applications for Company City Drivers to do pick ups and deliveries throughout Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley for our Container Drayage Division.
Class 1 Position Highlights:
- Start and end the shift at our Annacis Island Terminal.
- Pick-up from all major Ports and deliver containers to various locations in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
- Competitive hourly rate (Overtime paid after 9 hours or 45 Hours per week).
- Shift Availability: Monday- Saturday/Morning & Afternoon Shifts (8-11 hrs/day).
- Currently hiring for a full-time position.
Our Requirements:
- We require 2 years of verifiable local Class 1 driving experience.
- We require a clean commercial driver's abstract.
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature, and road conditions
- Previous Container Trucking experience an asset.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships.
- Ensure paperwork/documentation is completed accurately and within company standards.
- Conducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections in accordance with motor vehicle regulations and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes.
- Inform management of any defective or damaged equipment.
