Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of concession items including snacks, drinks, and light food offerings with efficiency and quality.
- Operate POS systems such as Square to process cash and card transactions swiftly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, including food prep stations and serving counters.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar technology is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed.
