Strathcona Regional District is seeking a part-time Concession Worker for Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex. The Concession Worker takes orders from customers and enters them into a computerized cash register; accepts payments and makes change; prepares, cooks, and serves a variety of hot and cold food items and beverages; prepares a cash float and balances orders and payments; including cash, at the end of each shift; and cleans, disinfects, tidies, and organizes work areas.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Grade 10

REQUIRED LICENCES, CERTIFICATES AND REGISTRATIONS

BC FOODSAFE Level 1

Standard First Aid

CPR Level C with AED (current within the year)





BENEFITS PAID FOR BY THE EMPLOYER employer pays for all job-required recertifications annual shoe allowance (must meet eligibility requirements)

The hourly rate of pay for this job is $21.85. We provide premium pay for working after 6 pm. In addition to their regular pay, part-time employees also receive:

6% holiday pay to start

4.5% benefit pay

4.6% statutory holiday pay
