Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivatedConcrete Pump Operator to join our team. This position is open to both experienced operators and individuals who are interested in learning the trade. Training will be provided to the right candidate; however, a current Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence is required.
The Concrete Pump Operator will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining concrete pumping equipment, assisting with equipment setup, and working closely with site crews to ensure concrete is delivered safely and efficiently. The position requires someone who is dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a hands-on construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate concrete pumping equipment to deliver concrete to designated locations on construction sites.
- Assist with the setup, positioning, and stabilization of the pump, including outriggers, hoses, and related equipment.
- Work closely with concrete crews and site personnel to coordinate concrete pours.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of pumping equipment.
- Monitor equipment during operation and report or address mechanical and operational issues as required.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment use, maintenance, and operational issues.
- Keep equipment, tools, hoses,
and work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with general construction and equipment-related tasks as required.
- Operate other heavy equipment, such as loaders or excavators, when trained and qualified.
Requirements
- Current Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence is required.
- Previous concrete pump or heavy equipment experience is an asset but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to safely operate and work around heavy equipment.
- Robust communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a crew.
- Good understanding of workplace and construction-site safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting, climbing, standing, and performing manual tasks as required.
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Training Training will be provided to the successful candidate. Previous experience with concrete pumps, heavy equipment, hydraulics, or similar machinery is beneficial but not necessary.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build experience in concrete pumping and heavy equipment operation while working as part of an experienced team.
Pay: $28.00-$47.00 per hour
