Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Conference & Banqueting Manager to lead our event services team and deliver exceptional experiences for our guests. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of conferences, banquets, and special events, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

- Lead the planning and execution of all conference and banqueting events, ensuring they meet client specifications and brand standards.
- Coordinate with sales, catering, operations, and other departments to deliver flawless event experiences from initial booking through post-event follow-up.
- Manage event budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue through effective upselling strategies while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Supervise and motivate the banqueting team to deliver exceptional guest services with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and vendors to secure favorable terms that benefit both the venue and guests.
- Oversee setup, service delivery, and breakdown of events, ensuring all logistical details are executed efficiently.




- Maintain detailed records of bookings, client preferences, staffing schedules, and financial transactions to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Experience

- Proven experience in hospitality management, particularly within restaurant or hotel environments with a focus on conference or banqueting services.
- Strong background in customer service with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, team members, and senior management.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling event services to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Skilled in negotiation, budgeting, time management, and organizational tasks to ensure successful event execution.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies to promote venue offerings and attract new business.
