Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive construction cost estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed proposals.
- Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs to accurately determine material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to negotiate pricing and scope adjustments that align with project budgets.
- Analyze market trends and pricing data to ensure competitive yet profitable bids.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to gather quotes and validate pricing accuracy.




- Assist in project management tasks by tracking costs, change orders, and budget adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is essential.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent project management abilities to coordinate multiple bids and deadlines efficiently.
- Solid construction experience with a deep understanding of building processes, materials, and industry practices.
