Engelhart Construction Ltd. is an established commercial general contractor specializing in industrial warehouse buildings and tenant improvement work looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing team. The site supervisor is the main point of contact for the Project Manager, the subcontractors, and the client. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years proven experience in commercial construction, design/build single & multi-tenant use office/warehouses.

A Site Supervisor at Engelhart Construction Ltd. enforces a strict standard of quality, cleanliness, and safety at each project location. The Site Supervisor provides on-site management of commercial construction projects. Strong organizational skills, construction operations, subcontractor relations, project planning, safety, quality, and communication skills are a must. The ability to work effectively with a variety of team members in a fast paced & high-pressure environment is essential.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Manage and oversee all daily on-site construction activities

· Organize, lead and guide the activities of sub trades

· Ensure construction activities are executed in compliance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, budget, safety, and quality requirements and standards

· Lead by example, support implementation of company’s on-site safety policies and procedures,



including completion of all required paperwork

· Work closely with the Project Manager to meet project’s construction timelines

· Attend and participate in construction meetings

Qualifications

· Ability to interpret architectural, mechanical, structural, and electrical plans and specifications

· Knowledge of commercial building codes

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· Concerned with accuracy and thoroughness, and willing to do “hands on” work on the job site

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to travel to sites as required

· Ability to express opinions and ideas, both verbally and in writing, in a transparent concise manner

· Asks a lot of questions. Ability to listen. Documents all instructions

· Leadership: Ability to influence other individuals, directly or indirectly

· “Right the First Time”. Avoid costly rework and time loss.
