Located in Komoka, Ontario, A-1 Restoration Inc. has 40 years of continuous expansion and success. We are looking for balcony repair specialists with caulking and/or concrete experience to join our experienced team! Reporting to the Site Foreman, this position is responsible for completing balcony replacement construction projects and caulking repairs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Our main office is based in Komoka, ON (10 minutes West of London, ON), but this role requires individuals to be willing to travel to jobsites in various locations across Ontario, and occasionally out of province. Out of Town stays in company-provided accommodations are a requirement for projects outside of the local area.

Job Duties

- Forming concrete columns, slabs, beams
- Cutting, placing reinforcing steel
- Pouring, consolidating concrete
- Frequent use of concrete demolition hammers, concrete grinders, quick-cut saws
- Small concrete repairs/patching
- Application of protective coatings
- Caulking related to panel joint caulking/exterior wall repairs

Job Requirements:

- 2-3 years previous experience with concrete repairs, with specific experience completing balcony restoration (full) and repairs preferred;
- Proficient with a caulking for exterior wall repairs;
- Willing to travel for work to jobsites across Ontario, with overnight stays as needed;
- Valid Boom/Aerial Lift training, or able to obtain
- Valid WHMIS training, or able to obtain
- Valid Working at Heights training (CPO Approved), or able to obtain
- Fit Test for respirator use is required
- Valid driver's license with a vehicle, OR a reliable ride to work




- Works well with others
- Able to lift 50 lbs safely and consistently due to the nature of the work
- Must be comfortable with work at heights
- A positive attitude and willingness to complete a variety of tasks

Mandatory Training:

- CPO-approved Working at Heights training;
- Elevated Work Platform (Boom/Aerial, Scissor Lift Training);
- Swing Stage/Suspended Access Equipment Users & Installers, or willing to obtain;
- WHMIS training;
- Health and Safety Awareness (4 or 5 Steps) training.
