Contract Battery/Field Operators

Aspenleaf Energy Limited (ALE) is a private oil and gas exploration and production company that is currently looking to fill contract battery/field operating positions in the Swan Hills, Alberta area. The company is focused on light oil opportunities and is led by a team of seasoned industry professionals with extensive operational experience.

:

· Reports to Shift Lead Operator and Production Foreman

· Assist the operations team in managing the day to day operations of the facilities and wells, including but not limited to, pigging, well testing, fluid level shots, troubleshooting, etc.

· Provide routine maintenance as required, to optimize production and reduce downtime

· Ensure equipment, facilities and wells are maintained, by completing minor maintenance

· Work within HSE standards and comply with all ALE rules, guidelines, policies and procedures

· Maintain accurate daily equipment logs, records, production readings, and all electronic reporting formats

· Contractor must have valid WCB, Insurance, and current oilfield competency training Ex: H2S,First Aid, etc





Qualifications:

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the following:

· Oil Facility operations including, wells, storage facilities, satellites and batteries

· Operating waterflood system , injection and source wells

· Working knowledge of pipeline gathering systems and pigging procedures and operations

· Artificial lift systems including pump jacks, casing compression, submersible pumps, etc

· Production monitoring systems (SCADA)

· Production reporting (ProdView)

· Computer based programs and systems(EX; Microsoft ,Word &Excel; )

· Issuing work permits and supervising work activities

· Must be self-motivated and possess excellent communication, time management and organizational skills

· Wages are competitive
