Job Overview:

We are seeking 2 content technician/content laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to support management and team members both on-site and in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

- Inventorying, packaging and restoring items exposed to water, fire, wind, etc. for insurance related claims.
- Perform content pack-outs and pack-backs for insurance claims.
- Driving to and from claims to pick up dry cleaning, contents, furniture, etc.
- Identifying, removing, packing, labelling, cleaning, and safely returning contents and furniture to their claim address.
- Must be capable of lifting 50lbs with help.
- Maintain a clean and protected work environment.
- Must be able to sustain long periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Be able to identify contents that are salvageable versus non-salvageable.

Skills:

- Experience working in restoration/insurance is considered an asset.
- Attention to detail is required.




- Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player.
- Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken.
- Class G driver's license is mandatory.
- IICRC certification is an asset.
- Encircle experience is an asset.
- Basic technology skills are required to work with our documentation program, Encircle.
- Warehouse experience is considered an asset.

Note:

- Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm.
- There are times we work later than 4 pm to complete a claim.
- You may be asked to work 1 day out of the weekend.
- Experience in contents restoration is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
