Compensation: $100 - $120k base - please note, $120K base is the max salary.

Please note, IFRS financial reporting experience with a TSX listed public company is a must have requirement.

Overview:

Our client, a rapidly growing CFO consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience at the Management level and is a mid-tier trained CPA with exposure to public and private clients.

Our client primarily focuses on smaller public clients or private companies that are looking to go public, with a focus on accounting advisory, business services and operational team management services.

The ideal candidate prefers to work with mid-sized entrepreneurial clients with a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Consulting Services:



Responsible for a range of accounting and business advisory services for 3-5 clients at one time.

Month-End Accounting: Conduct month-end closings, ensuring accurate financial data and compliance with internal controls.

Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements following IFRS.

Board Advisory: Acting as a trusted advisory to various boards;

Qualifications:

Experience: 3-5+ years of managerial level experience, ideally with smaller private clients/companies.

IFRS : At least 3 years experience with IFRS public company reporting, particularly with SBC

Entrepreneurial Mindset: Willing to work in an entrepreneurial workplace.

CPA Designation: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
