Controller

Position Overview The controller will be responsible for managing the overall financial operations of the company while supporting the executive team with financial strategy and business decision-making.

This position calls for a hands-on professional that’s comfortable operating in a dynamic, medium-sized business environment, collaborating closely with operations, procurement, and management.

Work structure:

In office time is essential but we value offering an adaptable work schedule. Arrangements are open for discussion.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the finance and accounting functions.

· Payroll and financial administration.

· Manage corporate taxation, prepare/maintain audit files and coordinate with external auditors.

· Lead the month-end and year-end closing process.

· Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.

o Oversee foreign exchange exposure o Support financing initiatives/negotiations.

Support management in strategic planning and financial decision-making.

· Prepare and review financial statements and consolidations.

· Manage budgets, cash flow and working capital.

· Monitor operational expenses.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of technical financial expertise and leadership ability.

- CPA designation
- Experience in a small or medium-sized organization
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and audit preparation
- Solid communication skills in English and French
- Strategic thinking with operational awareness

Compensation & Benefits

- Base salary: $90,000 – 110,000$
- Bonus: Up to 20%
- Vacation: 2 weeks (negotiable)

Le contrôleur de gestion sera responsable de la gestion globale des opérations financières de l'entreprise, tout en apportant son soutien à l'équipe de direction en matière de stratégie financière et de prise de décisions commerciales.

Ce poste s'adresse à un professionnel opérationnel, à l'aise dans un environnement dynamique d'entreprise de taille moyenne, et capable de collaborer étroitement avec les services opérationnels, les achats et la direction.

Principales responsabilités

Supervision des fonctions finance et Comptabilité:

- Gestion de la paie et administration financière.
- Gestion de la fiscalité des entreprises, préparation et tenue des dossiers d'audit et coordination avec les auditeurs externes.
- Pilotage des processus de clôture mensuelle et annuelle.
- Gestion des relations avec les banques et les institutions financières.




- Supervision du risque de change.
- Soutien aux initiatives et négociations de financement.

Accompagnement de la direction dans la planification stratégique et la prise de décisions financières.

- Préparation et analyse des états financiers et des consolidations.
- Gestion des budgets, de la trésorerie et du fonds de roulement.
- Suivi des dépenses opérationnelles.

Profil du candidat

Le candidat idéal possédera une solide expertise technique en finance et d'excellentes aptitudes de leadership.

- Titre de CPA
- Expérience au sein d'une PME
- Solide compréhension des normes en matière d'information financière, de fiscalité et de préparation aux audits
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication en anglais et en français
- Esprit stratégique et sens opérationnel
