About The Role:

What You'll Do:

- Verify and ensure that the proper films are on the machines as per the schedule and docket prior to setup; collect all necessary tools and accessories needed for the order.
- Perform excellent setups of converting machinery to provide the highest quality output while ensuring the maximum efficiency of equipment per process control
- Check all running machines for proper setups by controlling and adjusting machine settings, without jeopardizing quality or output.
- Perform quality inspections at the beginning of the shift, upon completion of setups and at various times throughout the shift to monitor packaging lines and equipment are functioning normally.
- Perform recalibrations to ensure that the seal heads are properly aligned to meet the product quality standard consistently.
- Check quarantine daily to see if any rework needs to be done, working with the Converting Supervisor and Manager on further resource allocation and capacity planning.
- Carefully review work dockets, accurately communicating and recording any errors to the Converting Supervisor in the communication book and statistical charts.
- Use TORI to enter data throughout your shift, while monitoring machine settings for accuracy and minor troubleshooting adjustments.
- Train and educate staff about machine safety, procedures, machine checklist, functions, quality expectations, etc. and support the Converting Supervisor in their training need analysis for Converting Operators.
- Protect the health and safety of yourself and others by performing safety circle checks on equipment,



creating work orders to repair damaged equipment, and keeping common workstations and areas clean.
- Work as a team to overcome shift obstacles, exceed daily department targets and celebrate team successes.
- Promote Tempo’s core values by working within all company policies and procedures.
- Adheres to all Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as required by the Converting Supervisor or Manager

ScheduleOur Flex‑Life Schedule is designed to give you more time off, without sacrificing full‑time pay:

- 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Rotating every 2 weeks days and nights (7:00am to 7:00pm AND 7:00pm to 7:00am)
- Work 36 hours per week, be eligible to be paid for 40 hours
- 16 days off a month!

Compensation:

- $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent
- Past working knowledge or experience working with a variety of Converting environments and equipment, or other transferable machinery skills would be an advantage
- Ability to adapt to new situations, solve problems, and work with minimal supervision
- High level of personal integrity and accountability, with mutual respect in dealing and speaking with others
- A positive outlook, team-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow as a person and team

- Must be able to reliably commute to work – own transportation required.
