We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Cook/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on food service experience in a fast-paced environment. Co-op opportunities are available for qualified students.

Duties

- Meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.

- Prepare and cook menu items while upholding high quality and presentation standards.

- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by promptly washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment

- Store and organize food items properly to ensure freshness and strict food safety compliance

- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report shortages to the manager.

- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.

- Support other staff as needed during peak periods.

Qualifications

- Previous kitchen or food service experience is an asset, but not mandatory





- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

- Ability to work efficiently, multitask, and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

- Robust communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Mandarin speaker preferred.

- A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation and cooking techniques.

- Open to work at two locations ( College Street & King West)

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
