Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
- Handle food safely by adhering to hygiene standards and proper storage procedures
- Operate basic kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, and food prep tools with care and precision
- Support serving staff by preparing ingredients for plating or delivery to the dining area




- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems when required
- Uphold guest service standards by ensuring timely meal preparation and maintaining a welcoming environment for customers

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated newcomers
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, safety regulations, and cleaning protocols is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Background in hospitality roles like barista work or hotel service can enhance your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Robust communication skills to coordinate effectively within the team and engage positively with guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
