About Us The Oak Centre is a supportive housing facility dedicated to providing a protected, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Cook to join our team and help provide nutritious, high-quality meals that contribute to the health and well-being of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in accordance with established menus and dietary requirements.
- Ensure all food is prepared and stored in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Accommodate special dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences where applicable.
- Work collaboratively with facility staff to support resident satisfaction and well-being.
- Follow food handling, infection control, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications & Experience





- Previous experience as a cook in a residential facility, healthcare setting, cafeteria, or similar environment preferred.
- Food Safety Certification.
- Knowledge of nutrition, dietary restrictions, and safe food handling practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service.
